Land Surveyors United Has a New Store
With over 1000+ members now on Land Surveyors United, it was time for some major upgrades. Luckily, Justin already had this all planned out. So this week, we rolled out a new store and a toolbar with a LOT of enhancements. Here's the story:Last week we gave you the Official Land Surveyors Toolbar so that you can install it into your browser and stay connected with the discussions and activity on Land Surveyors United anywhere you go. This week we bring you something even more exciting! If you take a look at the sitewide toolbar up at the top of the network (click to expand it), you'll see that there have been some excellent new tools and enhancements added to better your experience on the network, including a store!

Topcon Acquires Distrubtor InlandGEO
Topcon Positioning Systems has acquired InlandGEO, one of its distributors. InlandGEO is headquartered in Madrid, Spain, and has four additional offices in Spain, two in Portugal, and one in the Canary Islands. InlandGEO will become the headquarters for distribution and support for Topcon precision agriculture products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Survey Package
Does Civil 3D have everything in it for a Surveying Package? We are currently using a 3rd party software add-on (Carlson) but I'd like to eliminate the extra fees and use Autodesk's product if it in fact is able to perform as well as Carlson.
